It is with heavy hearts that we write to inform you of Fr. Randy Soto’s passing on Wednesday, December 21. Born on February 19, 1966, and ordained a priest on August 17, 1991, Fr. Randy was an inspiring model of the priesthood to our Parish and to the Seminarians both in Rome and in Yonkers. He will be sorely missed. We pray for the repose of Fr. Randy’s soul and for the consolation of his family and friends, especially for our Parish priests as they were with him as he entered eternal life.
Eternal rest grant unto him, O Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon him. May he rest in peace. Amen. And may his soul and the souls of the faithful departed through the mercy of God, rest in peace. Amen.

Experience this Advent season, as we wait for the Messiah’s birth, with song and Scripture. Our Choir sang well‐loved hymns, lectors shared the prophecies and lessons from Old and New Testament Scripture, and choral music filled the church.
Fr. Sorgie led this hour‐long celebration at Immaculate Conception Church.
In Honor of Our Lady of Mt. Carmel, Fr. Sorgie celebrated a Solemn Bilingual Mass in English and Italian on Saturday, July 16, at 4:00 PM, at Assumption Church. At the Mass, there was an opportunity to be invested in the Brown Scapular.

After discerning a vocation to the Diaconate, Paul spent five years of study and prayer at St. Joseph’s Seminary, Yonkers, leading to his ordination by Timothy Cardinal Dolan on Saturday, June 18, at St. Patrick's Cathedral.
Paul, his wife Maria, and their children have been active and vibrant members of our Parish for many years. We pray that Deacon Paul has a long and fruitful ministry here and in the Archdiocese of New York.

Walk with the Risen Lord as He appears to His disciples. Listen to the beautiful chanting and choral singing as we visit eight beautiful icons of Gospel events depicting the appearances of the Resurrected Jesus in the Scripture.

A Plenary Indulgence is granted under the following conditions:
Note: One Sacramental Confession suffices for several indulgences, but a separate Holy Communion and a separate prayer for the Holy Father’s intentions are required for each indulgence.
